Some interior designers are like magicians.
They’ll hold a giant cover over the house for a couple of months, and when they drop it, a dazzling new house appears.
Several HDB flats here have gone through some stunning transformations recently.
Like that flat which had an?under-construction?aesthetic.
Ok fine, so this was a joke.
But what about that 50-year-old 3-room flat that now looks like a BuzzFeed office?
If you think 迟丑补迟’蝉 good, though, then you should probably remove your socks, because this HDB makeover will blow them right off.
HDB Flat Got a Makeover & Now Looks Like the Interior of a Mansion
The owner of an HDB executive maisonette in Pasir Ris certainly chose the right interior designer.

The high ceiling and hardwood floor finish make this area an inviting and airy space, doing away with the cramped, compact feel of the initial design.
The space just outside the kitchen also looks like the inside of a hotel on a hill station, with those large windows inviting pools of sunlight.
Bathrooms
One of the most important areas in a renovation is the bathroom because you want to feel as fancy as possible while pooping.
This was the old bathroom:
The new bathroom has a much cleaner and contemporary look, with the addition of a bathtub for much-needed bubble baths.
Kitchen
Their new kitchen also looks like the kind you see in serviced apartments, and even comes with a rotatable faucet.
Bedroom
Designers often focus their attention on the bedrooms, because well,?迟丑补迟’蝉 where the magic happens.?
The flat’s new bedroom has the same hardwood flooring as the ground floor and looks like a modern yet snug space.
According to Stoneridge, the group carried out extensive renovation works which included:
- Demolition works
- Tiling works
- Carpentry work
- Quartz workto
- Plastering works
- False ceiling work
- Electrical work
- Plumbing works
- Painting works
- Metal works
